"Dundee is a great place!! There's always going to be something to do, as we are so close to so many things!! The River Tay, for water activities, and hills for hill walking...
It's also a very historical Place to live aswell!! For instance, we are widely known and famous for D.C. Thomson's, the creator of The Dandy, and The Beano.
But not a lot of people know a lot more than that. Marmalade was made here.The World's First Remote Control was used here, (by Queen Victoria, as she lay down the first stone of the Caird Hall) and the the button, the second largest emerald in the world, now resides in the chain of our Lord Provost. Also, Dundee's history cannot be mentioned without mentioning the R.R.S. Discovery!!
So, Dundee is a City, with an amazing history, yet it strides on into the future!! Dundee is a leader into the Cancer Research, among other Things...
