I have been to the Lake District when I was an
au-pair. I was very lucky to be there. Windemere is my most favorite
place. I hope I would like to be there in the future. I am in Turkey
now. If you have any photographs of it could you send me e-mail. Thanks

I lived in Barrow in Furness and worked at
Vicker's,I spent many a happy week end up in the lake district.I now
live in Wollongong in N.S.W Australia and wheh I visiter the U.K.last
year I went up to Windemere and it was still as beautiful as ever.

I come originally from N.E. England (which is also
beautiful) bit I now live in Germany. I bring my family every summer to
the Lakes so that my children can see the beauty of the landscape. We
mostly do walking and have been up most of the bigger peaks - the views
are breathtaking and worth all the hard work.

My sister live's in the Lake District and even though I now live in the USA ,it is one of the first places I visit when I return home for a holiday.
