Photographs by 22 2nd-year Foundation Degree students from Newcastle College are currently on show at the Tyneside Cinema in The Stairwell Gallery. The images were produced as part of the students' coursework and will be auctioned in The Tyneside Cinemas' Coffee Rooms on Wednesday 29th March at 8pm. Viewing begins at 6pm. The auction will also include photographs from local photographers.

I am a Geordie now living in the South of England, and I still call Newcastle 'home'. It's true what they say 'you can take the girl out of Newcastle, but you'll never take the Newcastle out og the girl'.....miss it like crazy

Hi, i am a german and i just to live in Newcastle 6 years long, most of all i liked the quayside, great people are there and you can have a really good time there, better then here in bloody Paderborn (Germany), i miss everything a lot, most of all my friends there.

Newcastle is the best city in the world! It's absolutley stunning, fantastic nightlife & class people. The millenium bridge is an amazing sight to see as are all the others. Last but not least the accent...by far the best. Newcastle is growing more & more popular by the day & it's not at all suprising! Byeeee! xxx
