Jon Neal - Sat 05 Jun 2010 10:41 pmI was born and raised in Preston for 28 years till I emigrated to Perth Western Australia in 1978. I have been back "home" 4 times and seen more of Preston than I ever did when living there. I would never come back there to live, it's changed so much in 32 years but ... it's a great place for a holiday :)I am a Proud Prestonian, have stickers on my car, and will be back for Preston Guild in 2012 :)
Christine Mutch (Burrow) - Sat 05 Jun 2010 2:03 amI was born and raised in Preston but moved to San Francisco 17 years ago. I miss Preston so much. The places, the people, everything. Over the years i have brought my kids to Preston on holiday and they just love it.I also love Morrisons as well!
sofia - Fri 07 May 2010 5:10 ami am from a small town called decatur illinois in the US and i am seriously thinking about uprooting and moving to the UK for a change of life. Decatur is very small and boring. How I long for a place to raise my children that they can be proud of. Is the cost of living there more than the US?
judy - Fri 23 Apr 2010 5:11 pmI was brought up in Preston, and hated it when I was a kid. Moved to California 25 years ago, but still visit twice a year. Now im older, I love it. A great town, with friendly people. Amazingly beautiful country side. I particularly love the docklands, and I love Morrisons grocery store. I will always come back. :-)
greg cheeseman - Fri 16 Apr 2010 3:24 pmI am a Preston lass born and bred but I have recently moved to Bristol to start married life here and a new job. While Bristol is a lovely city it certainly has nothing on Preston! The people of Preston are far more friendlier and sincere, I have only lived in Bristol for 3 months and want to go back to good old Preston.
Carole Roe - Wed 02 Dec 2009 6:27 pmI have lived in Preston since i was born (13 years ago) And i think its a great town. I always find there is something to do and i get a thrill in going into the town centre as something new is there each week!
Jessica M - Sat 17 Oct 2009 10:34 pmI am Preston born and bred and having been lucky enough to travel the UK quite extensively, I would not wish to live anywhere else! If anyone can help, I am looking for photos of The Shambles, Lancaster Road, Preston. My parents had a butchers shop there, Shepherds. Thank you for any help you can give. Barbara Jones
