Visitors CommentsI am a Preston lass born and bred but I have recently moved to Bristol to start married life here and a new job. While Bristol is a lovely city it certainly has nothing on Preston! The people of Preston are far more friendlier and sincere, I have only lived in Bristol for 3 months and want to go back to good old Preston.
Carole Roe - Wed 02 Dec 2009 6:27 pmI have lived in Preston since i was born (13 years ago) And i think its a great town. I always find there is something to do and i get a thrill in going into the town centre as something new is there each week!
Jessica M - Sat 17 Oct 2009 10:34 pmI am Preston born and bred and having been lucky enough to travel the UK quite extensively, I would not wish to live anywhere else! If anyone can help, I am looking for photos of The Shambles, Lancaster Road, Preston. My parents had a butchers shop there, Shepherds. Thank you for any help you can give. Barbara Jones
barbara jones - Fri 04 Sep 2009 1:36 pmLived in Preston for about 3 years. Did my University there and worked for William hill. Can't stop myself to mention that it is a great place to live and to enjoy the night life. In a span of 3 years, I have made so many friends around.. miss them all and miss the place.. hope to come back when i get a chance at least to see everything again.

Hitesh - Thu 16 Jul 2009 10:15 amI've lived away from Preston for over 30 years - currently in Leamington Spa - but I come back frequently to see my parents and other family members and I think its brilliant. It has one of the best bus services in the country, a vibrant football team, excellent market, interesting surrounding countryside, not to mention the docks area. I will return!
