Visitors Comments I think these photos are great and are of the moment. Stockport can be cold but it is certainly not unwelcoming. What the pics say about Stockport is that it is a real place with real people. My favourite is Petersgate Bridge. I grew up across the way from Alex Park and didn't dare go near the swans for fear of being attacked. These pictures have no soul in them and make stockport look cold and unwelcoming.
